Lucky took a moment to compose himself, bringing his breathing under control. His heart rate and breathing had been elevated by the run he had just made to the cabin.
The rain now fell hard and steady, luckily the wind was dissipated somewhat by the dense, tall pine trees that populated the area. He stood behind one of the trees and looked ahead towards the cabin. The perimeter lights were on, and Lucky knew that he would have to bypass the security cameras. He also knew exactly where the blind spot was, after all, he had installed the system.
Whitey, was onto his 6th beer already and was enjoying a nice buzz. He had a semi-erection, which he realised was because of his need to piss.
He stood over the toilet, penis in one had and a beer in the other. He heard Themba splashing about in the bath next door and said, “hoe lank nog, baby?” (How long still baby?)
“Get ready, my love, 5 minutes,” Themba shouted his reply.
Whitey let out a loud, long fart and smiled as he flushed the toilet.

A song played in his mind as he walked back to the room. He smiled and felt a sense of bliss at the moment. He had outwitted them all and kept the money, and now he was celebrating with the love of his life who was about to rock his world with amazing sex.
As he entered the bedroom, his smiled turned to instant confusion when he saw Lucky. There was no time to react though as his brain exploded a split second after he noticed Lucky.
He hit the floor hard, having died instantly.
Themba was oblivious to the noise because he had turned up the music in the bathroom. He slowly creamed his body before slipping into the lingerie.
Lucky stepped over Whitey’s body and positioned himself in the passage, a little way past the bathroom door from which Themba was soon going to emerge.

He did not have to wait too long.
Outside the rain fell even harder and the trees now creaked and hissed wildly as a full-on storm was bending trunks and shaking branches.
Not a soul had heard the loud gunshot.
Themba stepped into the passage wearing high-heels and smiled sexily as he took the first step towards the bedroom.

“Ready or not, here I come,” he shouted seductively.
He felt nothing, everything just went black, and he was gone. The bullet entered his skull at the base of his neck and exploded out of the top of his head. He fell face first, still smiling.
Lucky felt relief, but also annoyance. It was almost midnight, and he would be busy until morning cleaning this mess up.
After chopping off one of Whitey’s hands, and one of Themba’s legs, he spent over an hour digging a deep enough hole to bury both of the bodies in. The rain had softened the earth and the digging wasn’t too hard. He made sure the hole was well-over six feet deep before dragging both bodies into it. Once the hole was filled up again, he randomly covered the area with fallen branches and pine cones.
He quietly thanked Mother Nature for raining so hard now, because any foot prints or evidence of any activity on the ground would be washed away by the rain.
After cleaning up the blood and brain spatter in the cabin, he changed from his wet clothes into the spare tracksuit he had brought and began the long walk back home. He had to make it back before 5am, when people would be starting to wake up.
Before he left the density of the forest, he randomly threw the leg and hand into the bushes.
