Rosendaal becomes the second school to embrace the initiative, following its successful launch earlier this year at Blackheath Primary School. The programme will officially get underway at both schools in the 2027 school year, championed at Rosendaal by two passionate educators, Mr Ricardo Wildskut and Mr Joseph van Syfer.
At yesterdays' launch, a group of learners listened intently as Mr Wildskut shared the vision behind the initiative: empowering young people to recognise their own potential and understand that being a gentleman or a lady has little to do with appearances, but everything to do with character, integrity, respect, responsibility and how they treat others. Ricardo, reminded the learners of their potential by reciting one of his published poems during the launch.

The programme aims to nurture a generation of young role models who understand that greatness begins with everyday choices, that excellence is within everyone's reach, and that they have the ability to make a positive difference in their schools and communities.
The learners' response was overwhelmingly positive, with most expressing excitement at the prospect of becoming part of the programme when it officially begins in the new year.
Mr van Syfer was equally enthusiastic about the initiative, saying: "I wish I had been exposed to this kind of programme when I was at school. It will definitely make a difference, and I am very excited to be part of the initiative."

With two schools now on board, the Junior Gentleman & Leading Lady’s Club is steadily building momentum, bringing its message of positive values, self-belief and community leadership to more young people.

The Raven Report also invites other schools interested in introducing the initiative to their learners to get in touch with us and explore how they can become part of this exciting journey. Because every hero was once a child who simply believed they could become more.
